    Ingredients

    • 1 delicata squash, halved with seeds and pulp removed
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • salt to taste
    • butter and brown sugar to top with (OPTIONAL)

    Instructions

    • Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Cover the squash halves with olive oil and season with salt. Place flesh side up on a cookie sheet lined with aluminum foil. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until squash is easily pierced with a fork. Eat as is or top with butter and brown sugar.

    Easy To Chew

     Delicata Squash can easily be pureed if you require a pureed texture. Scrape out the cooked squash and add to a food processor. Pulse until smooth, adding either cream or butter to thin the puree.

    Delicata Squash is a great source of Vitamin A.

    Vitamin A is important to maintain normal vision and to maintain a health immune system.

    Delicata Squash can last up to 3 months when stored in a dry, cool place.
