Almond Milk

  • Nut Milk Bag

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almonds
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 dates (this is optional, it will make the almond milk sweeter, you could also sweeten it with agave syrup)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, cover the almonds in water. Let the almonds soak for 8 hours.
  • Drain the water from the bowl. Transfer the almonds to a blender and add 4 cups of water with a pinch of salt. You could also add 2 dates for extra sweetness. Blend until smooth.
  • Line a pitcher with a nut milk bag, pour the blended liquid into the nut milk bag. Twist and squeeze the nut milk bag, expressing as much liquid as you can into the pitcher. Drink right away or store in the fridge for up to a few days.
