Apple Pie Oatmeal

Equipment

  • Sauce Pan
  • A good chopping knife

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked oatmeal
  • 1 diced apple (any apple will work, use your favorite)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • caramel sauce as a topping

Instructions

  • Use a saucepan on a stove set to medium heat and melt the butter. Add the diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and water and cook for 10-15 minutes, until the apples are soft and the mixture is a jammy consistency
  • Cook oatmeal as directed on packaging. Combine the oatmeal and cooked apples. Top with caramel sauce and eat!
