Oven Baked Trout

Ingredients

  • 1-2 fresh rainbow trout
  • 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Clean and butterfly the rainbow trout. There are some great tutorials online if you need help cleaning and butterflying them.
  • Coat the trout in olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • Fold the trout up in an aluminum foil pouch and bake in oven at 400° F for 10-15 minutes, until the internal temperature is at least 145° F.
