Tuna Salad with Ritz Crackers

I love tuna sandwiches! For some reason they remind me of coming home from school. Sandwiches however, are generally not that easy to chew. Bread is the culprit, it can be cumbersome to chew. Luckily for us, some geniuses invented the Ritz cracker. They are salty, savory, and practically dissolve on contact with saliva. If tuna and crackers do not sound sophisticated enough for you then don’t call them crackers; call them edible tuna spoons.

    Course: Lunch
    Prep Time: 5 minutes
    Servings: 2

    Ingredients

    • 6 ounces solid white albacore tuna (canned)
    • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
    • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
    • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • Ritz crackers

    Instructions

    • Open the can of tuna and drain it.
    • It’s important that you shred the tuna as finely as you can. I like to take my fork and poke it into an open can of tuna and twist it like I’m twisting spaghetti. Then dump the flaky fish into a bowl.
    • Add all the other ingredients and mix it up. Serve with Ritz crackers

In Tokyo, Japan in January of 2019, a 612 pound Bluefin Tuna was sold for $3.1 million. It was bought by a Sushi restaurant owner named Kiyoshi Kimura. After buying it in an auction, he said, “The tuna looks so tasty because it’s fat and (looks) very fresh. It is a good tuna. But I think I did too much.”

In life there are two things you should probably own: a drivers license and a can opener. Driver’s licenses can be tough, try to pick a DMV that doesn’t make you parallel park for the drivers test. As for can openers, try this one out:

This is Amazon's best selling can opener!
